A woman handing out free samples at a Virginia Costco was shot and killed by sheriff's deputies after she began acting strangely in the store. Mhai Scott, who had been serving pizza samples to shoppers, reportedly became "agitated" and "started saying crazy things" before grabbing a knife and leaving her station. Scott's co-workers called the police, who sent armed officers to the scene. The deputies approached Scott, who was allegedly armed with both a knife and scissors; she reportedly advanced on them even after cops warned her they'd use a stun gun. A deputy fired (witnesses reported hearing five shots), and the 38-year-old died at the scene. "It's a tragic situation," Sheriff Michael Chapman said. "I feel for everybody involved."
